Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. PRN rate $38.50/flat
Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.
To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.
- Performs all diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound testing including M-Mode, two dimensional, color flow mapping, cardiac doppler, echo stress testing, trans-esophageal echo, stress testing, EKG, and Holter application.
- Prepares patient for ultrasound procedures
- Recognizes and promptly reports significant findings to physicians.
- Maintains echo equipment
- Maintains accurate log of echo procedures performed
Required
- Minimum of two years college with emphasis in medicalsciences and mathematics., upon hire and
- Verifiable completion of 18 contact hours ofin-service/continuing education in clinical Echocardiography, upon hire
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, within 12 - months or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, within 12 - months and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
Preferred
- Minimum of three years clinical experience in cardiovascular ultrasound
