Clinic Scheduler

• Schedules patient appointments.
• Coordinates multiple schedules for providers.
• Collects and verifies insurance information in addition to updating patient demographics. 
• Schedules all new patient referrals and mails out appropriate paperwork. 
• Help to answer patients’ phone calls. 

• High School Diploma/ GED required
• One (1) year experience in medical office setting preferred. 

As our Clinic Scheduler at CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic of Arkansas - North Little Rock, you will be responsible for answering phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, working recall orders, and notifying patients of timing for return appointments. 

Every day you will work with different providers and departments scheduling clinic appointments per protocol. You will communicate with hospital staff, clinic staff, and patients. 

To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of patient health insurance providers and scheduling protocols for physicians and mid-level providers.
