As our Surgical Tech at CHI Williston Health, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you’ll prepare the operating room for a variety of surgeries. We can’t operate without you.
The operating room (OR) runs as a team; every person on the team has an important role that directly impacts the patient. Your success in this role comes from your adaptability and enthusiasm to work with a team taking patients from a diseased process to a healing process.
We are offering a $20,000 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

In our Critical Access Hospital, you will be exposed to the emergency department, acute care (Med/Surg), swing bed, surgery, outpatient treatment, and so much more!
Pay Range
$26.06 - $36.81 /hour

- Prepare & Maintain: Set up procedure rooms with all necessary instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.
- Sterile Expertise: Demonstrate mastery of sterile technique, sterilization processes, environmental controls, and instrument decontamination.
- Team Support: Establish and maintain an organized sterile field, ensuring all team members adhere to sterile environment protocols.
- Surgical Assistance: Assist surgeons by providing visualization of the surgical wound, aiding with wound closure, and applying sterile dressings.
- Anatomy & Instrumentation: Apply your knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to surgical procedures, and advance your understanding of instrumentation across various surgical services.
- Accuracy & Safety: Perform accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts according to established procedures.

Required
- Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
- Certified First Assistant - Certified Surgical Technologists (CST/CSFA)
- Unlicensed Assistive Person: ND (UAP:ND)
- Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
