  • Translate complex business and operational requirements into clear technical and project specifications
  • Lead recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual projects while mentoring and coaching team members
  • Identify and implement complex process improvements and efficiency gains
  • Build strong client relationships, proactively anticipating needs and independently resolving complex queries
  • Collaborate with data engineering and analytics colleagues to ensure robust data standards, best practices, and supporting infrastructure

Key Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. data science, computer science, economics, analytics) with strong academic performance
  • Extensive professional experience leading analytical projects, managing stakeholders, and delivering complex data-driven work
  • Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL, with hands-on experience managing large, complex datasets
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems and deliver continuous process improvement
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, shipping, or other operationally complex industries preferred
  • Commercially aware with a clear interest in progressing into leadership
  • Advanced understanding of core data analysis techniques, including data preparation, interpretation, and visualisation
  • Proficient in analytical and productivity tools (e.g. Python, SQL, Excel, SAS); experience with BI and visualisation tools is advantageous
  • Strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently or within a team
  • Experience working in data warehouse environments is a plus
  • Sponsorship is not available for this role, and relevant background checks and screening will be required. Please note this position is office-based and candidates must be willing to work on-site

Benefits

  • Clear career progression with close mentorship from senior experts
  • Exposure to complex, high-impact analytical and economic work
  • Collaborative, employee-owned culture with low travel requirements
  • Private office environment and on-site parking
  • Flexible working arrangements and comp time for additional hours
  • Competitive compensation package including benefits and generous paid time off
