Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Short Stay Nurse, located in Chattanooga, TN. The Short Stay Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient progress. Day-to-day tasks will involve coordinating care plans, preparing patients for procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. The role requires a strong commitment to patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Registered Nursing license (current and in good standing) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of patient assessment, medication administration, and care coordination
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Proficiency in documenting patient care and using electronic medical records
- Experience in short stay, outpatient, or acute care nursing is an advantage
