Essential Key Job Responsibilities
Performs various diagnostic cardiology or peripheral vascular exams.
High quality diagnostic cardiac and/or vascular imaging procedures. Maintains accurate
documentation of results and reports to physicians as directed.
Performs various diagnostic cardiology or peripheral vascular exams including but not limited to:
• Vascular Imaging
◦ Carotid duplex
◦ Peripheral arterial duplex
◦ Ankle/brachial indices
◦ Segmental pressures
◦ Peripheral venous duplex
◦ Cerebrovascular duplex
• Cardiac Imaging
◦ Echocardiography
◦ Exercise stress echo
◦ Chemical stress echo
◦ Transesophageal echo
• Noninvasive Cardiac Testing
◦ Electrocardiograms (ECG)
◦ Holter/Event monitor applications
◦ Non-imaging stress testing
Corroborates clinical history and assesses patient for appropriateness of ordered procedure.
Provides patient education, applies patient relations skills and maintains confidentiality of patients and customers
in a safe and professional manner.
Assumes responsibility for assigned area, reporting equipment malfunctions and procedure difficulties.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiology Technology program or graduate of post secondary allied health profession program
Licenses & Certifications:
- BLS required upon hire. Please refer to policy “Licensed, Certified, and Registered Employees” for acceptable Life Support cards
- ARDMS Board Certification
- ARDMS Board Certified in ABD and OB within six months of hire
- ARDMS Board Certified as RVT within one year of hire
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Understands methods and is capable of performing venipuncture’s as required for position
- Demonstrated ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities, while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashion
- Must be self-motivated, and able to take ownership of projects/assignments
- Must be a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
- Interpersonal skills in dealing with guests and team members

Salary : $35 - $52
