The incumbent Is responsible for seeking resolution to problems relating to timely and efficient demographics/charge entry while ensuring excellent communication between the management while ensuring client satisfaction.

Pay Range
$15.67 - $22.14 /hour

The incumbent Is responsible for seeking resolution to problems relating to timely and efficient demographics/charge entry while ensuring excellent communication between the management while ensuring client satisfaction.
Essential Function
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of the demographic and charge entry function compliant with Federal and State regulations and billing policy and procedures.
- Ensures daily accurate balancing of charges posted.
- Ensures timely daily resolution of any demographic and/or charges submitted lacking necessary information to allow entry Daily Prepares and maintains the Charge log per client ensuring all charge totals are listed accordingly and balanced.
- Notifies Revenue Cycle IT Department and management of any system issues encountered.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Ensures compliance with CHI Billing Reimbursement Policies and Procedures to maximize efficiency. Ensures compliance with appropriate industry regulations and State and Federal regulations.
- Maintains working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to assigned responsibilities.
- Maintains confidentially of all information related to patients, medical staff, finances and cost effective health care delivery issues.
- Maintains confidentiality of assigned logins and passwords to access clinical data sets.
- Strives to achieve and maintain company Account Receivable Aging standards.
- Demonstrates the ability to work well with peers while ensuring a strong cohesive team.
Job Requirements
Minimum:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two (2) years applicable medical CBO experience
