Job Title: Part-Time Corporate Delivery Meal Attendant
Introduction:
We are seeking highly reliable and friendly individuals to join our team as a Food Delivery Driver & Meal Attendant. This role is essential in providing timely food delivery service to satisfy our nationally recognized corporate client daily. This role includes consistent hours & schedule. Hours & Availability:
- 730 or 830am - 1230/1 pm
- 7pm or 8pm -1200/1230am
Great AM "mother's" hours, second job, or students. Must be 18 with a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive to commercial kitchen in downtown Springfield to review paperwork, pack & inventory meals, and acquire company van following company checkout procedure.
- Coordinate with culinary staff in a professional manner & consult with lead prior to departure
- Safely transport packaged meals from our commercial kitchen to designated company locations within specified time frames always using GPS.
- Safely & responsibly operate the company provided vehicle, following all local/state traffic laws.
- Load meals at client sites, ensuring all food items are presented attractively and maintained at proper temperatures.
- Remain present during meal periods to manage the food service area, replenishing the pre-packaged meals, and addressing any immediate needs or concerns of the customers.
- Assist customers with the self-pay check out experience.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, creating a positive experience for customers, handling any unforeseen issues with professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service station.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies.
- Complete all paperwork and electronic documentation as required every shift.
- Courier any remaining items to the appropriate drop off location maintaining proper chain of custody.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Prior experience in delivery driving and/or food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; must be outgoing and approachable.
- Ability to work independently and make well-informed decisions swiftly.
- Physical ability to lift and transport heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Either consistent availability to work a set schedule or the flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends or evenings if required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to learn & retain a basic understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Comfortable using smartphones or digital devices for navigation and documentation.
