- High school diploma or equivalent
- Candidate must qualify for employment by passing additional extensive background checks, psychological evaluation, range qualification, and drug screening
- Valid Colorado driver's license is required for hire
- Have or be eligible for current Peace Officer's Standard Training (POST) Certification; or completion of a state-certified police academy or military police training academy; or job-related knowledge which may be gained by at least two (2) years in law enforcement, or two (2) years education in law enforcement or police science, or at least 3 years experience in other security related field
- CPR and First Aid certification required upon hire
