Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and maintaining inventory integrity. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and a solid understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all packages are accurately labeled and documented.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe handling of all materials.
- Maintain an organized workspace to facilitate efficient order fulfillment.
- Perform regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies in shipments or inventory records.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating reach trucks and other warehouse equipment.
Experience
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of loading/unloading procedures and distribution center operations is beneficial.
- Ability to operate reach trucks safely and efficiently is desired but not mandatory; training may be provided.
