Core Experience
The base salary range for this role is $104,500 - $166,500.00.
Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.

What You’ll Do
SCADA System Build & Ownership
- Build, develop, and support Ignition-based SCADA systems used in fulfillment center operations.
- Take technical ownership of key SCADA applications, integrations, or system components.
- Implement and maintain OEE metrics, alarms, and dashboards to improve equipment and process visibility.
- Contribute to uniform SCADA patterns and solutions applied across various facilities.
- Build and support integrations from PLCs and edge devices into SCADA and downstream enterprise systems.
- Engage with industrial communication protocols including OPC UA, MQTT, and BACnet.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on data modeling, schemas, and system integrations.
- Ensure reliability, accuracy, and consistency of operational data.
- Develop and maintain Ignition Perspective applications, including HMI screens, reusable components, and operational dashboards.
- Support report development and data visualization for operational and engineering collaborators.
- Participate in field commissioning, system startup, troubleshooting, and operator training as needed.
- Support on-prem and cloud-hosted SCADA environments.
- Build and maintain AWS-based infrastructure supporting SCADA workloads, including networking and security components.
- Follow and help improve SCADA security, access control, and data governance practices.
- Participate in operational support, incident response, and root cause analysis for production issues.
- Work within established architectural patterns and engineering standards.
- Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and system knowledge sharing.
- Provide technical mentorship to peers and support cross-functional collaboration.
- Balance the delivery of new features with long-term system stability and maintainability.
Core Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Solid experience in industrial automation and controls, including PLCs and industrial networking.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Ignition Software or similar SCADA platforms.
- Experience supporting industrial systems in production or operational environments.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud-based infrastructure.
- Proficiency with at least one programming or scripting language (Python, JavaScript, Java, or SQL).
- Practical understanding of industrial communication protocols including OPC UA and MQTT.
- PLC Programming Experience (Allen Bradley, Beckhoff).
- Experience assisting with or implementing SCADA systems across multiple facilities.
- Experience implementing OEE, asset monitoring, or equipment performance solutions.
- Familiarity with data analytics or industrial data pipelines.
- Strong operational approach with a focus on reliability, uptime, and supportability.
The base salary range for this role is $104,500 - $166,500.00.
- The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08 positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
