Chewy Health is redefining how veterinarians and pet parents care for pets through a rapidly expanding ecosystem of services. As part of this journey, we are hiring a Senior Strategic Account Manager to help scale and deepen our partnerships across the veterinary industry.
This role sits at the intersection of account management, business development, and operational execution, and will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with high-value veterinary organizations, including multi-clinic groups and complex practices.
You will act as a senior partner to veterinary organizations, shaping how Chewy supports their clinical and operational workflows while driving measurable growth in adoption, engagement, and long-term partnership value.

Account Management & Partnership Growth
Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.

What You’ll Do
Account Management & Partnership Growth
- Own and manage a portfolio of high-value veterinary partners, including multi-clinic groups and complex individual practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, positioning Chewy as a trusted partner.
- Lead end-to-end account planning and partnership conversations, aligning Chewy’s capabilities with partner needs and business goals.
- Identify and drive growth opportunities within accounts, including expanding adoption of PracticeHub capabilities and new service offerings.
- Proactively identify and develop expansion opportunities across existing partnerships, including pilots, new workflows, and additional services.
- Contribute to partnership strategy and solution design, bringing forward ideas that drive mutual value.
- Support discussions around program structure, pricing, and rollout approaches in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Partner with Sales, Veterinary Services, Product, and Operations to translate account strategies into executable plans.
- Ensure consistent and effective rollout of initiatives across clinics, working closely with Field and Virtual teams.
- Track performance against key milestones and adjust plans to drive outcomes.
- Gather insights from partners to identify friction points, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with Product, Tech, and CX teams to ensure customer feedback informs roadmap and enhancements.
- Support resolution of complex account issues and escalations, coordinating across teams to drive timely outcomes.
- Help identify root causes and contribute to long-term improvements in partner experience.
- 7–10 years of experience in account management, partnerships, business development, or related roles
- Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and drive measurable business outcomes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage mid-to-senior level stakeholders
- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Experience working cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Operations, or similar teams
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Experience in the veterinary or broader healthcare ecosystem
- Experience working with multi-location or enterprise customers
- Familiarity with SaaS, marketplaces, or platform-based business models

- The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08 positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
