We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Safety and Compliance Officer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the safety, loss prevention, environmental compliance, and food safety programs at our fulfillment center.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Safety Program Management:
- Assume responsibility for the overall safety program, including injury/illness management, return-to-work initiatives, and OSHA compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Develop and implement effective training programs for employees on safety procedures and protocols.
Loss Prevention and Risk Management:
- Analyze and manage risks associated with equipment usage, facility layout, and operational processes.
- Implement measures to prevent theft, damage, and other losses.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to address security concerns.
Environmental Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements related to environmental sustainability and waste management.
- Cultivate relationships with external partners to promote eco-friendly practices.
- Monitor and report environmental performance metrics.
Food Safety and Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain rigorous food safety protocols to ensure a high-quality product.

**Requirements:**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science).
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a leadership capacity.
