QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Proficient in keyboarding, email, and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  2. Ability to use computer based applications for record keeping.
  3. Working knowledge of basic office procedures and operation of office equipment (computer, fax, copier)
  4. Previous experience working in an office.
  5. High School diploma.
  6. Successful screening through the district Human Resource employment process.

REPORTS TO:          

Principal

 

JOB GOAL:

To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Major emphasis is maintaining both paper and computerized records.
  2. Able to organize, proofread, and type correspondence, reports, and other written communications accurately.
  3. Maintain all financial records relating to school account.
  4. Prepare, receive, distribute and file requisitions for supplies.
  5. Manage payroll forms for teachers, substitutes, aides and custodians.
  6. Manage all aspects of student transfers and registrations.
  7. Handle bus passes, assignments and latchkey/daycare manifests.
  8. Enter and update vacation, professional days, etc.
  9. Answer phones/intercom in a friendly and helpful manner.
  10. Assign tasks to office aides as necessary.
  11. Assist Principal and Assistant Principal as needed.

COMPENSATION:                
As per GTSPA Contract

 

($31,097 - $47,602 per year.  Final compensation will be based on school district experience and qualifications.)

 

BENEFITS:                         

Full Time Staff are eligible for Medical, Prescription, Dental and Vision Benefits.  Vacation, Sick, Personal and Bereavement Days are included

As per current district vacation policy.

 

EVALUATION:

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy of Evaluation of Personnel.

 

Salary : $31,097 - $47,602
