Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Front of House team member to join our team. This role focuses on register operations, customer interaction, and maintaining a smooth and welcoming front-of-house experience.
Duties
- Operate POS system (Square) efficiently and accurately
- Provide clear, friendly, and attentive customer service
- Handle transactions and maintain register flow during peak hours
- Restock front-of-house items and maintain cleanliness
- Support opening and closing duties
- Maintain awareness of the space, customers, and team needs
- Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest relations are positive
- Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tasks
Requirements
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as required for food service duties
- Customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to commute reliably (walkable preferred)
