ASSOCIATE POSITION – MARYLAND
An immediate associate opportunity is available to join our expanding and dynamic podiatry practice, offering significant room for growth. Our practice encompasses limb salvage, foot and ankle deformity correction, trauma, and a busy clinical environment. Multiple hospital affiliations are included, and hospital call coverage is required. As a foot and ankle surgeon, some weekend call responsibilities will also be expected. A Maryland license is highly preferred, as is Board Qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive foot and ankle surgery as well as the full spectrum of podiatric medicine and surgery
- Deliver direct, high-quality patient care
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, accurately document findings and properly treat the patient.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Demonstrate the ability to work as a strong team player while maintaining independence when required
- Exhibit a positive attitude and high energy in all professional interactions
- Ensure strict compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and protocols
Qualifications
- Board Qualified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle (RRA) Surgery
- Proficiency in performing the full spectrum of foot and ankle surgical procedures
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other medical specialties and coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Capacity to manage a high surgical volume and provide hospital coverage
- Possession of a valid medical license in the State of Maryland
- Minimum of one year of practice experience preferred, though not required
- Familiarity with the ICD-10 coding system to ensure precise documentation
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
