Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
- Actively support Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes by accomplishing daily activities within applicable regulations and policies, carrying out duties in an environmentally conscientious manner, following safe operating practices, perform maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ensure all work performed adheres to Chevron's Operational Excellent (OE) standards and regulatory and code requirements.
- Actively participating in Safeguard Learning Tool/AHAS and being prepared to respond to an environmental or safety event.
- Shown understanding of gauging operations: basic knowledge of API standards and Product quality inspection of petroleum products.
- Assigns work and provide direction for contract operators, drivers, and carriers.
- Order planning and dispatch activities.
- Service scheduling.
- Responsible for inventory reconciliation and monthly reports.
- Responsible for planning and dispatching of work to meet commitments for blending, loading of tanker trucks or offloading of rail cars. Collaborates with Supply Schedulers and transporters for all products.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to work on-call, shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime to support plant operations, and
- respond to emergency situations when they arise.
- Mechanical aptitude to include use of hand and power tools.
- Basic knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and an aptitude for learning new software.
- Must be able to meet all physical requirements of the job including; climbing stairs, bend, kneel, squat and stand for extended periods of time, climb on top of storage tanks over 50 feet high, and lift 30-50 pounds.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to read tape measure.
- Plant Terminal Operator Experience.
- Experience in lubricants, oil, and gas or related petrochemical or petroleum products.
- Knowledge of SAP
- Effective working and collaboratively with a team with multifaceted strengths of coworkers,
- contractors, and internal and external customers.
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.
