Harnish Auto Family is looking for a proven, experienced Flat Rate Automotive Technician who knows how to diagnose, repair, and produce at a high level in a fast-paced dealership environment. If you’re a technician who takes pride in your work, understands efficiency, values quality repairs, and knows how to turn hours without cutting corners, we want to talk.
What You’ll Do- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs efficiently and accurately
- Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer and company standards
- Maintain strong productivity and proficiency in a flat-rate pay environment
- Accurately document repair recommendations, findings, and completed work
- Work closely with advisors, parts, and management to keep workflow moving
- Perform inspections and identify needed maintenance or repair opportunities
- Stay current on OEM training, repair procedures, and evolving technology
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Previous flat-rate automotive technician experience required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to consistently meet productivity expectations
- Experience with warranty repairs and repair documentation
- Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
- Own tools required
- ASE certifications and OEM certifications are a plus
- Team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic and accountability
