Chevo LLC is hiring an experienced Jr. Federal Management Analyst to join our ICE-Student & Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) Fee Management Support (FMS) team. This position provides the opportunity for client interaction. Ideal candidates will have experience supporting the tracking of metrics, scripting to transform data, and creating powerful visuals to present out the data for the client. This position offers a hybrid work environment, with the client site located in Vienna, VA. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in scripting languages such as R or Python, and experience with Microsoft Power Platform and other data visualization tools. This role will be crucial in helping us extract actionable insights from data to drive business decisions and strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis & Fee Study
  • Assist with conducting a comprehensive fee study, including activity-based costing (ABC) modeling.
  • Track and analyze revenues versus forecast and expenditures against spend plans.
  1. Performance Tracking
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics to evaluate program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support risk management activities, including identifying and mitigating fraud risks.
  1. Visualization & Reporting
  • Prepare clear, concise, and visually compelling reports and presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Contribute to dashboard design in Tableau and Power BI (prior experience is essential).
  • Use data visualization techniques to communicate complex information effectively.
  1. Process Improvement
  • Support SEVP in process improvements, including leveraging tools like PowerApps for workflow automation.
  • Assist in scripting with Python or R to improve data analysis processes (willingness to learn is essential).
  1. Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with SEVP stakeholders to gather, analyze, and communicate key data and findings.
  • Write clear, detailed documentation and reports tailored to a variety of audiences.


Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship (mandatory for federal engagement).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional work experience.
  • Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint for creating professional and compelling presentations.
  • Strong writing skills with an ability to produce clear, concise, and audience-tailored content.
  • Strong prior experience in developing visuals in Tableau and Microsoft Power BI,
  • Willingness to learn Python/R scripting and PowerApps.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with activity-based costing models.
  • Familiarity with financial forecasting and spend plan tracking.
  • Previous experience in consulting, financial management, program evaluation, or a related role.
  • Previous experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role.
  • Experience with federal government clients, especially DHS or ICE programs.


SALARY RANGE: $70K-87K (subject to change)

Salary : $70,000 - $87,000
