Our Senior Business Analysts become knowledge leaders in how Fleetwave operates, demonstrate solid business acumen, show a genuine interest in how organizations operate, and - crucially - articulate how operations can be improved. Any experience in the fleet industry and software delivery is a significant benefit to this role, but the ability to understand business problems and be credible in front of end users is more important.
A strong interest in technology is essential and our Senior Business Analysts have great skills in translating customer requirements into clear specifications, that our implementers and developers can work from.
What you will need to do
- Manage the scope of the analysis by fully understanding an engagement's statement of work, reaching out for clarifications should they be necessary
- Work through customer requirement lists (where available) to form an initial understanding of the deliverables that will satisfy them
- Produce an initial pre-workshop solution design in use case format, based on your interpretation of the customers' requirements
- Work with the customer to identify business owners for each deliverable, to be responsible for the sign off your design and then final acceptance testing
- Collaborate with the customers' project leadership to plan workshop sessions and required attendees
- Facilitate workshops to present your proposed solution, confirming your design and filling any gaps by eliciting input from key end users
- Critically assess the customer processes and consult on best practices and possible improvements to close off gaps against the standard solutions we offer
- Ensure exception scenarios and agreed system responses are documented where relevant
- Document acceptance criteria against each deliverable
- Iterate over your documentation, incorporating feedback from the customer, and obtain final sign off
- Produce technical specifications for custom integrations
- Collaborate with project managers and implementers to estimate and plan the backlog
- Complete basic configuration tasks e.g. screen design, report writing, etc.
- Act as the internal customer, reviewing items delivered at the end of each sprint and completing functional testing
- Support the testing of the configured solution for quality and adherence to design
