Chetek Kids Club is looking for a part time teacher to join our team.
POSITION: Part Time Childcare Worker
LOCATION: Kids Club Childcare at Roselawn Elementary
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must be kind, patient and should have experience working with children. An Early Childhood Associates Degree is preferred (but not required) or credits in Early Childhood or related fields. Candidates should have training in CPR, First Aid, SIDS and Shaken Baby Syndrome prevention or be able to obtain it during the first month of employment.
DESCRIPTION: CW Kids Club workers will work with all age groups at the child care center from 6 weeks through school age. Childcare workers will supervise and monitor the safety of children, instruct children in health and personal habits such as eating, resting, and toilet habits, assist in meal preparation and organizing mealtimes and snacks for children, change the diapers of infants and toddlers, organize & supervise activities, develop schedules and routines, watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring the problems to the attention of parents, and keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interests.
