We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused Equipment Service Technician to join our team. This role ensures rental equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for customer use, playing a key part in delivering an outstanding rental experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers and partners
- Operate equipment for loading and unloading for customers, internal drivers, and outside haulers
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Explain safe operating procedures of equipment to customers.
- Perform routine checks to ensure equipment is safe and in proper working condition
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard, storage areas, and workspaces
- Clean and maintain the appearance of equipment
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment or facility
- Complete inspection checklists and report issues to the Store Manager
- Inspect returned equipment for damage, missing parts, or maintenance needs
- Secure equipment to prevent accidents, hazards, or unauthorized use
- Support team members as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license required; Chauffeur license preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance skills
- Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and other yard equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical ability to lift, move, and handle equipment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
