Grill Side & Pizza Maker

At Chet and Matt's Pizza, we believe great food starts with teamwork, consistency, and pride in what we serve. We are looking for motivated team members who are eager to learn both the grill side and pizza side of our kitchen. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, works well with others, and is ready to grow their skills across multiple stations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and standards
• Learn and work both the grill side and pizza side of the kitchen
• Prepare pizzas, sandwiches, wings, appetizers, and other menu items
• Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation on every order
• Assist with food prep, stocking, and kitchen organization
• Keep workstations clean, sanitized, and organized throughout shifts
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Work efficiently during busy rush periods while maintaining accuracy
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
• Assist wherever needed to help the team succeed

• Willingness to learn multiple kitchen stations
• Restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right person

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a hot, fast-moving kitchen environment
