Chestnut Services is expanding, and we’re looking for a warm, skilled, and passionate clinician to join our team! Located in Leelanau County with our office at the north end of Traverse City, Chestnut Services is a well-established, highly regarded outpatient mental health practice serving individuals, couples, and families across Michigan. We are especially known for our strong commitment to perinatal mental health and supporting young children and families, and we’re excited to welcome a new team member who shares our dedication to this important work.
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a limited or fully licensed Clinical Social Worker (LLMSW or LMSW) with a trauma-informed approach and a passion for supporting maternal mental health, paternal mental health, children and/or families. Ideal candidates will be certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) or actively working toward certification, and bring experience with evidence-based modalities such as:
- Brainspotting
- EMDR
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Somatic practices
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Experience in Infant Mental Health is a plus, as is a desire to grow professionally within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work
- Active Michigan licensure (LLMSW or LMSW)
- At least 1 year of clinical experience (preferred)
- Interest or certification in Perinatal Mental Health and/or Child and Adolescent and Family Therapy
