Position: Licensed Social Worker – Mental Health Resource Specialist
Location: South Allegheny School District
Schedule: Full-Time | 10-Month School-Based Position
License Required: LSW

What You’ll Do:
- Support students’ mental health needs and reduce truancy
- Provide therapy and support sessions (including IEP-based)
- Conduct assessments and crisis interventions
- Connect families with vital community resources
- Lead classroom presentations and staff trainings
- Facilitate transitions from hospitalizations or treatment programs
- Offer virtual support for cyber/Edgenuity students

Qualified candidates must have a master’s degree in social work and be a Licensed Social Worker to be considered for the position. All employees must provide a FBI Clearance, PA State Criminal Clearance, and a Child Abuse Certificate as well as the Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training certificate.
