We are seeking a passionate and experienced Private Music Teacher to provide personalized instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. However.Candidates with experience in curriculum development, classroom management, and working with children or adults are encouraged to apply.
Duties
- Develop and implement customized lesson plans aligned with students’ goals and skill levels, incorporating diverse musical styles and techniques.
- Conduct private and group lessons in various instruments or vocal training, ensuring each session is engaging and productive.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to maximize learning outcomes.
- Maintain a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, discipline, and enthusiasm for music.
- Incorporate supplementary skills such as photography, ballet, theater, or dancing into lessons when appropriate to enhance overall artistic development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, especially when working with children or early childhood education students.
- Prepare students for performances or recitals, providing coaching on stage presence and performance skills.
- Collaborate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and recommend practice routines or additional resources as needed.
- Stay current with developments in music education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.
Qualifications.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles, special education needs, behavior management strategies, and early childhood education practice
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles
