REPORTS TO: Associate VP for Operations & Special Projects for Enrollment Management
DEPARTMENT: Office of Admissions, School of Undergraduate Studies
LOCATION: Remote/Supporting On-Campus Events, as needed
JOB TYPE: Temporary, Part-time, October-February, 20 hours/week
potential for additional hours to support on-campus events
COMPENSATION: $22/hour
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct holistic reviews of applications from prospective students.
- Make admissions decisions on completed applications within assigned territory, deferring final decisions to the Director of Admissions or Admissions Committee, as needed.
- Conduct outreach to applicants, as needed, to request additional application information or documentation.
- Manage document processing in Slate, including, but not limited to, receipt of transcripts, test scores, and supporting documents, and efficiently and accurately upload documents to individual Slate records.
- Accurately enter and manage applicant data in Slate, including, but not limited to, GPA, scholarship data, and institutional dates of attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Previous experience in college admissions and application review.
- Prior experience using Slate CRM preferred, but not required.
- Strong understanding of admissions, recruitment, and enrollment cycles and timelines.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Technology and an appropriate workspace to work effectively from a home or remote location.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the College’s Mission and Core Values, including a shared dedication to inclusive, mission-driven education that supports the development of the whole person.
