What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct - Writing position at Chestnut Hill College?
Chestnut Hill College is seeking applicants for Adjunct Writing Faculty to teach courses for the 2025 Fall Semester. The courses are fully in-person. The Writing Program will welcome at least 2 new adjunct faculty members for fall, one teaching Essay writing (2 sections T/TH) and one teaching our first-year seminar (MW 9:30 and 11). All courses are in-person.
Course Information
Adjuncts are needed for:
- Essay Writing – 2 sections T/TH
- First Year Seminar - 9:30am and 11am M/W
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or higher) in English or closely related discipline
- Previous college-level teaching experience
- Exhibited evidence of continued professional growth and development
