Quality Control Sanitizer (75944)

We have been making quality beverages for the Midwest since 1872 and supplying them from 14 distribution centers across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

Position Summary:  Responsible for the compliance with various regulations, company, and parent company requirements to ensure the highest standard and quality of work, adherence to procedures, and accuracy of results in regard to the company's sanitation practices. To conduct CIP (Clean in Place) and COP (Clean Out of Place) on our filling and processing equipment in Production areas. Test and document results electronically. Implementing daily cleaning and sanitizing procedures and performing daily inspections.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Foam, pressure wash and scrub production equipment, floors, walls, etc (wet clean) in the Production area along with adjacent areas, according to a pre-determined set of procedures
• Work with pre-mixed and concentrate chemicals to clean, sanitize and return the production facility to operation
• Operate and maintain internal Clean In Place (CIP) system
• Sanitize all surfaces post clean for production runs
• Interior infrastructure cleaning of production and non-production areas
• Participate in Pre-Operation inspections of the equipment after the clean
• Assist other team members on beverage production lines when required
• Ensure the highest level of sanitation, safety and quality for the products being produced
• Must be able to work independently and/or with limited supervision
• Monitor inventory and notify management of needed materials
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned

Education/Experience:

• High-School Diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• No experience necessary – on the job training is performed

Work Environment:  Works in a production environment. Ear protection is required in production areas. Must wear hair/beard net and hi-vis vest in designated areas.

Job Status: Full Time

Work Schedule: Sunday to Thursday with occasional Friday; 8pm-5am

Pay: $21.63 plus shift differential
