Veterinary Assistant

A well-established veterinary clinic in Chesterfield, Missouri is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our single doctor Veterinary clinic. Previous veterinary assistant experience is required. This position is ideal for a motivated, reliable individual who enjoys hands-on patient care in a clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the veterinarian during exams, treatments, and procedures
- Assist with diagnostic procedures, including blood draws, laboratory samples, and radiographs (based on experience)
- Provide compassionate patient care
- Communicate effectively with clients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam and treatment areas
Qualifications:
- Previous veterinary assistant experience required
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to stand, lift, and perform physical tasks
- Ability to restrain large dogs
