As a full-service landscape company specializing in high-end residential properties, we take pride in the details — lush plantings, colorful annuals, and vibrant gardens that make every property stand out.
Our Maintenance Division ensures that each landscape we create continues to thrive year after year. We’re growing — and looking for a talented leader who’s as passionate about plants and people as we are.
If you love spending your days outdoors, mentoring crews, and transforming properties into stunning living landscapes, this could be the perfect fit.
What You’ll Do
We’re seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our residential maintenance operations with a strong focus on soft-scaping — from perennial and shrub care to seasonal color displays and plant and turf health. This is a dynamic role that blends hands-on horticulture with team leadership and client relationship management.
- Lead, train, and support maintenance crews in delivering top-quality softscape care.
- Manage all aspects of property maintenance, including:
- Annual flower design and installation
- Seasonal plantings, pruning, and bed maintenance
- Plant health monitoring
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure work meets Chesterfield Valley Nursery’s high standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships — providing updates, advice, and proactive service.
- Collaborate closely with the Design and Build teams to ensure seamless transitions from installation to maintenance.
- Monitor materials, tools, and equipment for efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Troubleshoot softscape issues for pest and disease issues.
Additional Skills That Are a Plus
While not required, the following experience is beneficial:
- Irrigation checks and troubleshooting
- Lawn and turf care coordination
- Landscape design experience
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of landscape or residential property maintenance experience, including leadership responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and seasonal color design.
- Familiarity with garden health management.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- A hands-on leader who sets the tone for quality, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Valid Class E Driver’s License (required).
- MO Pesticide Applicator License is a plus.
- Degree or certification in horticulture, landscape management, or a related field is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish is also a plus.
