Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a passionate Mandarin Teacher to join our team. You will have the unique opportunity to introduce students to the Mandarin language and Chinese culture through dynamic, age-appropriate lessons. Develop and deliver engaging Mandarin lessons for early childhood and elementary students that support language acquisition and cultural understanding
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that fosters curiosity, communication, and confidence
- Adapt lessons to meet varying developmental levels and learning needs
- Integrate Mandarin instruction with interdisciplinary learning themes across the curriculum
- Collaborate with school teams and administrators to enhance the student experience
Communicate regularly with families about student progress and classroom activities

Bachelor’s degree in education, language instruction, or a related field
- Proficiency in Mandarin and experience with effective language teaching methodologies
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a school setting
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check
