Chester Valley Golf Club is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper who takes pride in creating clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for our members and guests. This is more than just a cleaning job—it is an opportunity to play an important role in creating a memorable experience for everyone who visits our club while working as part of a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the main clubhouse, pool area, pavilion area, and halfway house area up to and including all bathrooms and locker rooms in these areas. In addition, check in weekly on the “owl house” on hole 6.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and floors.
• Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, walls, windows, mirrors, and light switches.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, showers, tiles, and other bathroom surfaces.
• Restock towels, washcloths, soap, glasses, bathroom supplies, and other amenities.
• Maintain clean and orderly guest hallways and storage areas.
• Check lamps and report or replace burned-out light bulbs as appropriate.
• Follow proper procedures for cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous housekeeping, custodial, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and safely use cleaning products and equipment.
• Dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
• Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform continuous repetitive motions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, stooping, and climbing.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments including conditions that may be hot, cold, humid, or noisy.
• The position may involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens or potentially infectious materials.

Expected Work Hours

• Shifts may be as early as 5 AM.
• Shifts may include holidays, weekends, and nights.
