What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)/ CMA(Certified Medical Assistant) position at Chester Square Family Practice, PLC?
We are an established local Family Practice with one Doctor seeking a reliable LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) to care for our patients in a professional and courteous manner.
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 6:35 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a short day once a week.
Responsibilities
- Record a patient’s medical history accurately
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.
- Administer injections and perform phlebotomy.
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
- EKG testing
Skills
- Proven experience as LPN or CMA
- Familiarity with medical office settings and health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
- Good knowledge of EMR system, Eclinicalworks is a PLUS!
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
Hourly wage will be negotiable by degree and experience.
