- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
- Experience working with bilingual/bicultural students preferred
- Experience working with the applicable age group preferred
- Computer and current technology knowledge required
- Must have Act 33 and 34 clearances and federal criminal history background check (available through CCIU upon hire)
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Plan and implement daily lessons related to student needs
- Provide an engaging environment designed to meet the needs of students
- Implement behavior management strategies that are developmentally appropriate

At the present time, vacancies exist for Part-time Student Support Specialists within the 21st Century Community Learning Center Program, Student Services Division of the CCIU. Currently, there are multiple openings working with elementary school age students, and supporting English Language Learners and/or academic support students.
