- Experience working with secondary students, preferred
- Current police, child abuse, & FBI Fingerprint clearances (within one year), required before start date
- Applicants will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of basic skills in high school academics and the career and technical programs
- Must have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team in an educational setting

Assisting the Teacher:
- Preparing instructional materials
- Maintaining discipline and other behavior management functions
- Arranging the learning environment
- Assembling, adjusting, and maintaining equipment and technology used in the instructional program
- Administering educational assessments
- Performing other duties as assigned

Assisting with Students:
- Working with individual students or small groups on activities assigned by the teacher
- Assisting, within the constraints of specific program regulations, in the supervision of students during non-instructional times throughout the day such as lunchtime, entering or exiting the building, etc
- 0 - 9 yrs experience = $19.38
- 10 - 13 yrs experience = $21.29
- 14 - 17 yrs experience = $23.19
- 18 yrs experience = $25.11
- Bachelor's degree is equivalent to 9 yrs experience on the scale = $19.38
- Master's degree is equivalent to 15 yrs experience on the scale = $23.19
