A vacancy currently exists for a Mental Health Therapist within the Division of Student Services at the Chester County Intermediate Unit. This is a year round 260-day position located on the CCIU Coatesville Campus within our Clinical Treatment Program.

Qualifications
This position is responsible for facilitating and providing direct therapeutic interventions consisting of group and individual therapy, treatment planning, designing and implementing effective interventions and strategies to promote therapeutic recovery.
The therapist is the lead team member responsible for coordinating therapeutic intervention. The therapist will be responsible for completing required documentation such as treatment and discharge plans, psycho-social history, daily progress notes, and insurance forms. The therapist maintains close communication with the child's parent(s) to monitor and promote progress.
Salary (2026-27 Rates)
Project Staff, Band 14 (260 days/12 months)
$68,981 - $86,227 annually - (Placement on band is based on direct full-time experience as a licensed clinician)
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 260 days (12 months), 7.5 hrs/day.

Qualifications
- Licensed mental health professional (LSW, LCSW, or LPC) or has passed a national board certification exam in a related field and is eligible for and has initiated the PA state licensing process required.
- A Master's Degree and at least one year experience in a CASSP system, school, or employed by a licensed mental health services agency or subcontracted agency, required
- PDE School Social Worker Educational Specialist Certificate PK-12 preferred
- Documented training and experience in positive behavior supports, team coordination, agency collaboration, applied and cognitive behavioral counseling
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
- Current PA Child Abuse History, PA Criminal and FBI Fingerprint Clearance, required
