Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs).
- Write programs for students to assist in: (Teaching skill deficits, Maintaining acquired skills, Teaching self-help and coping skills , Building capacity and developing effective routines to address school avoidance behaviors)?
- Train staff on FBAs and PBSPs.
- Systematically evaluate the consistent implementation of PBSPs through: (Personal observation, Staff and parent/caregiver consultation, Progress monitoring of student attendance data)
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, families, and educational teams.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Train and support staff in implementing behavior strategies and data collection.
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data and outcomes.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field required.
- Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required.
- 2 years experience working in educational or community-based settings preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
