MARKETING OFFICER or SENIOR MARKETING ASSOCIATE
Reports to Chief Marketing & Analytics Officer

Overall
· As part of the Marketing team, help develop, execute, and manage marketing initiatives that support brand awareness and organizational growth. This implementation role blends content creation, campaign support, and marketing execution, to ensure that messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned with organizational objectives. This position requires strong creative ability, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into effective marketing materials and campaigns.
· This is a role for a systems-minded, creative communicator who thrives on both strategy and execution, someone who can write a news article, schedule a segmented email flow, coordinate a photo shoot, and pull a metrics report all in the same week…or day. Occasional evening and weekend event work is required.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
A. Content Development & Brand Messaging
1. Create high-quality marketing content including articles, website copy, email campaigns, powerpoint presentations, and outreach collateral
2. Collaborate with team to develop messaging that clearly communicates value propositions and differentiators.
3. Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all marketing channels; assist in refining brand standards and visual identity guidelines.
B. Print & Digital Marketing Campaign Execution & Analysis
1. Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across print, email, social media (LinkedIn, Facebook & Instagram), website, and digital platforms (including MailChimp & YouTube).
2. Oversee day-to-day social media activity (designed by paid intern assistants) ensuring brand adherence, timely content scheduling, encouraging engagement, and performance monitoring.
3. Assist with SEO optimization efforts and timely updates of content of all websites: Edit CCCF websites and specific Funds with external third-party websites. (CCCF, Estate Planning Council; Hadley, TERF, Stanley’s Dream, Sweet Jane’s Wish, among others), including external calendars
4. Track marketing KPIs and campaign performance metrics, including engagement rates, providing reports and recommendations for improvement. Track & analyze website analytics; develop optimization strategies
5. Assist with budget tracking for marketing initiatives.
C. Outreach Enablement & Support
1. Support program staff by helping develop and maintain outreach and educational materials including promotional design, pitch decks, one-pagers, and programs/services sheets.
2. Collaborate with philanthropy and nonprofit outreach programs team to create targeted materials for specific constituent markets.
3. Support philanthropy prospect cultivation through coordinated outreach and education materials.
4. Ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and organizational goals and core values.
D. Events & Promotional Initiatives
1. With Marketing team, support planning and implementation of all in-person and online zoom events, large and small: outreach, education, cultivation, forums, panels and special events including annual meeting/legacy awards, Sweet Charity, professional advisor gatherings and board meetings. Initiate and orchestrate logistics: scheduling, invitations, site visits, food & beverage, rentals, décor, photography, audio-visual, entertainment, speaker arrangements, valet parking, and travel. Events: annual meeting/legacy awards, Sweet Charity event, fundraisers, philanthropy forums, community forums, professional advisor gatherings, board meetings.
2. Coordinate marketing materials, signage, promotional assets, and follow-up campaigns.
3. Manage vendor relationships (photographers, videographers, designers) from briefing through asset delivery
4. Capture and organize content (photos, video, testimonials) during events for future marketing use.
5. Help preserve and promote the historical significance of the Lincoln Building via tours, special events, promotional campaigns, etc.
6. Assist with overall relationship building and represent the Foundation at community events, receptions, events, trainings, and speaking engagements (Chambers of Commerce as assigned)
7. Support Board of Directors, committees, and task forces and internal staff gatherings as needed.
E. Reporting & Operational Excellence
1. Maintain organized libraries of marketing assets and digital files (photos, videos, etc).
2. Oversee Marketing intern program coordination as applicable—onboarding, assignment management, and timely high quality project delivery
3. Help maintain CRM data integrity related to marketing campaigns, prospect lead tracking, stewardship tracking
F. Grants Administration
1. Responsible for Grants Lifestyle Management (GLM) data integrity related to grants management and administration. For grants management:
· Via the GLM system, manage the intake, internal tracking, and external posting of nonprofit grant proposals for review by Fund Advisors and Grant Panel members
· Ensure complete information in CCCF system to analyze proposals: nonprofit website URL, GuideStar/Candid profiles &/or IRS Form 990s, site visit summaries to support informed grantmaking
· Support grantmaking operations by organizing and supporting grant panel meetings and deliberations
· Assist with nonprofit site visits and document findings in the centralized C‑Suite database to strengthen organizational knowledge of community needs and nonprofit partners
· Help respond to inquiries regarding the CCCF grantmaking process
G. Fundraising Funds Support: Serve needs of current Fundraising Funds (as assigned steward):
1. Meet with Fundraising Fund Advisors to review CCCF fundraising fund policies; oversee implementation, assuring adherence to IRS regulations and insurance requirements
2. Obtain Certificates of Insurance for Fundraising activities; bring insurance issues/needs to the attention of Business Affairs for follow-up. Obtain permits and other related licenses/permissions in accordance to local and state regulations
3. Promote Fundraising Fund events through media releases and social media
4. As mutually agreed, attend selected events to support, assist and represent CCCF
5. Approve expenditure and grant requests so Business Affairs can process payments
6. Generate financial and donor reports as requested by Fund Advisors
7. With Chief Impact Officer, assess overall Fundraising Fund practices for continuous improvement

Classification: Full-time with health & dental benefits, 401k match after 90-day probationary period
Remote Work: After initial 90-day employment period, hybrid remote work scheduled
Workplace: Field (10%) – Office (70%) - Remote (20% after 6 months employment):
Maintains regular, visible presence in the office to be accessible to internal and external constituents.
Some evening and weekend outreach work, prescheduled.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously. Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
· Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting; comfortable pulling and interpreting campaign data.
· Strong people skills, working well with diverse personalities. Experience coordinating across teams, with staff, board and volunteers; and managing external vendors and creative partners.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field, or comparable work experience.
