Role Description
This is a hybrid role based in Marietta, GA, with flexibility for remote work. The Homeschool Education Training Specialist will develop and deliver training programs to support homeschooling families in incorporating chess into their education plans. Key responsibilities include creating engaging educational content, conducting workshops or online sessions, and providing ongoing support to homeschooling educators. The role will also involve fostering relationships with the homeschooling community and promoting chess as a valuable educational tool.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Education and Teaching methods, with a passion for creating engaging learning experiences
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to connect with and support homeschooling families
- Experience in Training and delivering workshops or educational sessions
- Proven ability to engage with diverse learners and adapt teaching methods to meet varied needs
- Familiarity with homeschool or roadschool environments is a plus
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and knowledge of chess and its educational value preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, or a related field is desirable
