Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Express/Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a focus on quick and efficient service. Duties
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections with precision and efficiency
- Conduct tire services using specialized equipment and hand tools
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including fluid top-offs, filter replacements, and light repairs
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete service procedures safely and accurately
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer standards and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist in upselling additional maintenance or repair services when appropriate
- Heavy lifting of vehicle parts or equipment as needed during service procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably in a dealership or fast-service environment
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
- Experience with oil changes, tire service, and general vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with automotive service tools including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred
- Dealership experience or prior service technician experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
