What You’ll Do
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment
- Record vital signs and medical histories accurately
- Assist providers with procedures and patient care
- Administer medications and immunizations as directed
- Maintain and stock exam rooms and clinical supplies
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Document patient information in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Provide patient education and support as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is a plus
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Proficiency in EMR systems and basic clinical procedures
- BLS certification required or willingness to obtain
- Bilingual skills are a plus
