Position Summary

The Loan Funder will primarily be responsible for reviewing loan approvals for loans closing the next business day, reviewing executed loan packages received from title, and providing funding authorization to title timely. The Loan Funder will communicate with all parties involved in the closing to ensure all paperwork is complete, accurate and in compliance with legal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing executed loan closing packages and paperwork
• Reviewing and clearing all prior to funding loan conditions
• Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all required documents
• Managing and resolving any concerns, problems, and documentation issues
• Acting as an intermediary between all parties involved in mortgage loan transactions
• Ensuring closing details comply with state and federal regulations
• Meeting production benchmarks

Qualifications

Experience:
 

• Working knowledge of mortgage industry regulations
• Proficient with standard software such as Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong attention to details, high degree of accuracy and excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to handle the pressure of a fast-paced office high work volume
• College degree preferred
• 1 years of experience in mortgage closing
