Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our private dental office in Cheshire, CT.
Looking for 1 day a week (7 hour shift) with guaranteed daily pay of $1200
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform a range of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of patients during all procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using Dentrix.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote long-term dental health.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license with no disciplinary actions.
- Proficiency in general dentistry practices; experience in prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating strong leadership skills when necessary.
