Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as espresso, cappuccino, and lattes
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Upsell additional products to customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is required
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Toast POS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong multitasking abilities- Availability to work flexible shifts, including your selection of holidays.**
-Must be available 4 shifts a week, including at least one weekend day. **
- Compensation
- Minimum at start, credit card and cash tips can be collected daily once fully trained.
