Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists (CVSS) in ANNAPOLIS, Maryland is seeking a full-time licensed veterinarian or a licensed Physical Therapist with CCRT or CCRP certification. to join our growing rehabilitation team.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented rehabilitation therapist to help expand our rehabilitation department while collaborating closely with our skilled specialty team, including certified rehabilitation technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans for canine rehabilitation patients.
- Work collaboratively with our board-certified surgeons, referring veterinarians, and in-house specialty teams to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
- Utilize a full suite of advanced rehabilitation equipment, including therapeutic ultrasound, laser therapy, shockwave therapy, an underwater treadmill, and other cutting-edge modalities.
- Provide exceptional client education and communication to pet owners and referring veterinarians.
About CVSS
CVSS is a well-established surgical practice with a 30 year reputation for excellence in Maryland. With locations in Annapolis and Hunt Valley, our practice is home to a dedicated and collaborative team that includes:
- 8 board-certified small animal surgeons (plus one board-eligible surgeon for 2026)
- 4 residents and 3 surgical interns
- 3 certified rehabilitation therapists, 2 CCRVNs, and 1 CCRA
As an ACVS Practice Partner, CVSS has a strong surgical residency program with a 100% pass rate for all residents who have completed the program.

- State-of-the-art equipment, including digital radiology, MRI, CT, hyperbaric oxygen chamber (Hunt Valley location), arthroscopy, laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, and a full suite of orthopedic, neurologic, and soft tissue instrumentation.
