Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role will primarily support non-sterile compounding operations while also assisting with day-to-day pharmacy workflow.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and compound non-sterile medications in accordance with USP guidelines
- Accurately measure, mix, and label compounded prescriptions
- Maintain compounding records and logs
- Assist with prescription filling and workflow management
- Provide excellent customer service, including ringing up patients and answering phones
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the compounding lab and pharmacy
Requirements
- Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician License (required)
- Minimum 1 year of compounding experience (required)
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- National certification (CPhT)
- Experience in an independent or compounding pharmacy setting
