Job description:
$5,000.00 Sign On Bonus!!
LOCATION: Calvert, Charles and St Mary's Counties
STATUS: FT, PT or PRN
WAGE: Per Visit - Posted salary is for Full Time status
JOB PURPOSE: The Occupational Therapist provides occupational therapy services to patients in the home setting. Work includes responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient’s occupational therapy plan of treatment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of one year practicing as an Occupational Therapist.
- Possess and maintain a current license as an Occupational Therapist from the State Board of Maryland
- Occupational Therapy Examiners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts a complete physical evaluation in order to determine appropriate treatment in accordance with the functional level of the patient.
- Obtains a complete history through interview of patient/family/others.
- Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates occupational therapy treatment for patients in accordance with the physician’s plan of care and the patient’s abilities/limitations.
- Teaches home occupational therapy programs to patients and/or their families and assists them in planning/implementing equipment needs for home use.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess and maintain documentation of freedom of TB in a communicable form.
- Possess and maintain documentation of annual influenza vaccine and Covid vaccine
- Maintain current CPR certifications
