Chesapeake ENT, a division of Chesapeake Specialty Care, is seeking a Medical Receptionist/Front Desk Specialist to join our team.
This role requires regular travel between up to four office locations: Owings Mills, Rosedale, Columbia, and Westminster. Candidates must be flexible and able to work at different offices based on business needs.

This role requires regular travel between up to four office locations: Owings Mills, Rosedale, Columbia, and Westminster. Candidates must be flexible and able to work at different offices based on business needs.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday only (no weekends)
- 8-hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 AM β 6:00 PM
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Welcome, register, check in, and check out patients
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently across multiple locations
- Collect copays and patient balances
- Assist patients with insurance, billing questions, and documentation
- Ensure all patient paperwork is complete and accurate
- Scan and process referrals and medical records
- Assist with chart preparation and filing
- Maintain reception area in a neat and professional condition
- Provide coverage and support at multiple offices as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum 1 year of medical front desk or receptionist experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in basic office tasks such as typing, filing, and scanning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor with the ability to assist patients who may be ill, elderly, or distressed
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to different office locations regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of a certified medical office training program preferred
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
