Seasonal Warehouse Associate
Chesapeake Fine Food Group is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, dependable individual to join our warehouse team. As a key member of our fulfillment/warehousing division, you will be responsible for order fulfillment and other general duties in our Baltimore warehouse. The ideal candidate for our team will be a dependable, service-oriented individual who demonstrates a desire to learn and grow. Attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, efficiency, and organizational skills are a must. Candidates need to be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment and be willing to work evenings/weekends during peak seasons.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participates in the order fulfillment process, preparing packages for shipment and ensuring orders are processed quickly and accurately.
- Assists with product assemblies.
- Perform inventory counts during receiving, stock/move inventory as needed.
- Cleans and organizes assembly room, warehouse, and storage facilities.
- Maintains quality assurance standards and complies with all rules and regulations.
- Assist Warehouse Manager with reviewing/managing inventory of boxes and packaging materials.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate an understanding of warehouse operations and order fulfillment processes.
- Keen attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Exhibit good time keeping habits and communicates effectively with supervisor.
- Physical ability to lift/move/carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, especially in peak seasons, including evening and weekends.
- Successfully handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma or higher
- 1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse/order fulfillment center, preferred
- Food & Beverage industry background, preferred
- Forklift operation/license
